Rest in Peace, Mrs. Cleaver

I woke up this morning to news that Barbara Billingsley, or Mrs. Cleaver to many of us, had passed away at age 94.

Like many, I grew up watching “Leave it to Beaver.”  In fact, at one point when I was a kid, it was probably my favorite show.

I also remember Barbara Billingsley as the jive talking passenger in the movie “Airplane:”

 

 

After seeing her as June Cleaver for so many years, it was hilarious to see her in this role.
